This policy applies to all Waste Vendors, Collection Agents, Scrap Dealers, and Recycling Factories registered on the RecyIndia platform.

1. Introduction

This Vendor Policy outlines the standards, responsibilities, and operational expectations for all vendors registered on the RecyIndia platform.

RecyIndia is a digital marketplace designed to connect households, commercial establishments, institutions, waste vendors, and recycling factories in a transparent, efficient, and technology-enabled manner. RecyIndia acts solely as a platform facilitator and does not provide waste collection, transportation, recycling, or trading services directly.

All vendors operating on the platform act as independent service providers and are solely responsible for their business operations, pricing, service quality, and legal compliance.

2. Scope of Vendor Activities

Registered vendors may collect, trade, or process recyclable waste sourced from:

  • Households

  • Shops and commercial establishments

  • Offices and residential societies

  • Hospitals and healthcare facilities

  • Temples and religious institutions

  • Educational institutes

  • Industries and manufacturing units

  • Other legally permitted organizations

All activities must comply with applicable laws, regulations, and platform policies.

3. Vendor Registration & Information Accuracy

Vendors must ensure that all information provided during registration—including business details, contact information, service areas, pricing, licenses, and documentation—is accurate, complete, and up to date.

Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in account suspension or permanent removal from the platform.

4. Business Conduct & Service Standards

Vendors are expected to:

  • Maintain fair, transparent, and ethical pricing

  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with users

  • Fulfill pickup, delivery, and transaction commitments within agreed timelines

  • Handle waste responsibly and in an environmentally sound manner

Unethical behavior, misuse of the platform, or repeated service failures may lead to disciplinary action.

5. Legal & Regulatory Compliance

All vendors must strictly comply with applicable:

  • Environmental laws

  • Waste management rules

  • Transportation and safety regulations

  • Local, state, and national regulations

The handling, collection, storage, processing, or sale of prohibited, hazardous, biomedical, or illegal materials is strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized under applicable law.

6. Verification & Platform Monitoring

To enhance platform credibility and user trust, RecyIndia may conduct verification checks of vendor information and documentation.

However, such verification does not constitute an endorsement, warranty, or guarantee of any vendor’s services, pricing, quality, or conduct. Vendors remain fully accountable for their actions and outcomes.

RecyIndia reserves the right to monitor vendor performance and take appropriate action—including warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account removal—in cases of:

  • Policy violations

  • Repeated user complaints

  • Unethical practices

  • Legal or regulatory non-compliance

7. Limitation of Liability

RecyIndia is not responsible for disputes, losses, damages, delays, or claims arising between users and vendors. All transactions and services are conducted directly between the involved parties.

Vendors agree to indemnify and hold RecyIndia harmless from any claims, liabilities, penalties, or legal actions resulting from their business operations.

8. Policy Updates

RecyIndia reserves the right to modify or update this Vendor Policy at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
